New doctors for Ngunnawal welcomed

Two new doctors have started at the Ngunnawal Medical and Skin Clinic, meaning new and old patients may be able to see a doctor sooner than at other practices where doctors' books can be full.

The two new doctors are Dr Carolyn Khin-Chin, who has a diploma in child health and started in September, and Dr Sasanka Gunaratne, who previously practised in Western Australia and started in November.

The practice also has a new nurse, Rebecca Anderson, who started with the practice last week.

Great news to read there will be more doctors in Gungahlin. I read some statistics a while ago that showed that Gungahlin has one of the most acute doctor shortages in Australia. this will surely help a bit.
