Gungahlin Lake surprises
Apr 8, 2009
A large Murray cod taken from an unlikely location was the highlight of a bright week for anglers in the local region.Luke Gray's fantastic 90cm cod from Gungahlin Lake surprised many given the relatively young age of this small impoundment. Gungahlin Lake was first stocked with cod in the late 1990's so it's pleasing to see such big specimens emerging from this waterway just over a decade later.
The superbly conditioned fish was Luke's first ever cod and it was taken on a lure near the dam wall.
