Church group for kids

If you’re looking for something different for the kids, why not check out some of the activities on offer at the Gungahlin Anglican Church.

Each Wednesday, the church offers a fun kids club. The club offers lots of fun activities including, games, songs, craft, afternoon tea and bible stories.

The Kids Club runs every Wednesday afternoon during the school term, from 3pm to 5pm at Amaroo School and costs $2.50 per child.

For the younger children, Tadpoles is a playgroup run by the Gungahlin Anglican Church and open to the community. The playgroup is for young children aged four and under and activities include bubble blowing, puzzles, playing with play dough, story time, singing and lots more. The group meets at the Gungahlin Resource Centre (which is located on Ernest Cavanagh Street, next to the library) in the Function Room on Wednesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am during term time. A donation of $5 each week is very much appreciated to cover the costs of hiring the venue.

And, if you’re busy through the week, why not try Sunday School? There are always fun activities, crafts and heaps of fun. Sunday School runs during the 9.30am service at Burgmann and the Fellowship at the 5pm service. Children aged between three and 12 are all welcome to join in.

For more information about the Sunday School see the service leader or a staff member at each service and for more information about the Gungahlin Anglican Church call Tracey Jacob on 0406 024 433 or visit www.gungahlinanglican.org.au
